Pr. Luiz Amaro is a Baptist pastor, missionary, church planter, and leadership mentor with decades of experience in cross-cultural ministry, discipleship, and leadership development. He is married to Orleusa Arruda da Silva and is the father of Luisa and Lucas.

Ordained in São Paulo, Brazil in 1985, he was a founding member and mentor of Vale da Bênção, a missionary training center. In 1989, Luiz and Orleusa were commissioned as missionaries to Asia by the Brazilian Baptist International Mission Board, where they served for nearly 20 years.

After the mission field, Pastor Luiz served as a church planter with the North American Mission Board (NAMB) in South Florida. He holds degrees in Theology, Bible, and Philosophy, completed studies in Chinese Language and Culture in Taiwan, and pursued graduate studies in Organizational Behavior and Leadership Development at Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Pastor David Anderson has faithfully served in pastoral ministry for over 51 years, dedicating his life to preaching God's Word, shepherding people, discipleship, and leadership development. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies (B.A.), a Master of Arts in Theological Studies (M.A.), and a Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.). Pastor David brings decades of pastoral wisdom, biblical teaching, and ministry experience to AnchorRock Church.

Mike Barnard “Dr. Mike” has been married to Luz for over 31 years.

Mike is from Long Island, New York and Luz is from Colombia. They have four adult children; Michael, Andrew, Christine and Brianna. They have been serving the church in many aspects as in: Deacons, Men’s ministry, Women’s ministry, visitation, mission trips, teaching the bible for children, youth and adults, decorations for all events in the church and wherever there is a need to serve. Their goal is to help build the Kingdom of God and make disciples. They have been helping others to know Christ for over 30 years in the church.
